In 1953, Rochester commercial artist H.P. Berman began working exclusively with the Fourth Appellate Division, providing custom-made display certificates to lawyers upon their swearing in. His craftsmanship is still the basis of our design. For decades, Berman painstakingly lettered the names and swearing-in dates of thousands of new lawyers.
After Berman’s death in 1981, his daughter Carol B. Fybush took over the business. For more than 30 years, her Rochester-based family firm has been at every swearing-in ceremony held by the Fourth Appellate Division. Our certificates are proudly displayed in law offices and judges’ chambers all over western and central New York and beyond.
Today, LawCertificates.com is in its third generation of dedicated local service to the western and central New York region. Our certificates are custom-printed right here in Rochester.
